Stoller, Judd Apatow, and Joshua Church are producers on the film. The film also stars Luke Macfarlane, Ts Madison, Monica Raymund, Guillermo Díaz, Guy Branum, and Amanda Bearse. It is a gay romantic comedy by a major studio, and has an openly LGBTQ+ principal cast. Bros had its world premiere at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2022, and was theatrically released in the United States on September 30, 2022, by Universal Pictures. The film received positive reviews from critics. To date, it has grossed $10.8 million in the US and Canada.
